Originally built in 1921, the Highland Hotel's architectural characteristics feature elements of minimal traditionalism from LA’s Early Modern Era with scatters of Art-Deco style embellishments throughout the building. After years of operation as a hotel and housing a variety of commercial uses on the ground floor, the Highland Hotel most recently served as a neighborhood swap meet before being repositioned and renovated to what it is now.

The Highland Hotel features 26 independent micro live/work studios catering to a diversified array of tenants from design professionals & practicing artists to media & production companies to private office users that are simply looking for a new home away from home. Equipped with smart technology for access control and internally managed by a newly built fiber internet network, the Highland Hotel offers all of the modern amenities in one of the most exciting neighborhoods in Los Angeles.

Built in the 1920s, the Highland Hotel Annex is a 2-story, brick residential 4-plex that features architectural characteristics of both colonial revivial and craftsman styles. Currently in the design phase, the Highland Hotel Annex's future plans are to connect to the Highland Hotel in order to create a unique campus of quality residential units, a mix of highly desirable neighborhood-oriented amenities, and private parking.
