Urbanize LA - "La Plaza Cultura Village Breaks Ground"

Chinatown and the surrounding Cultural Core near Union Station continues to be the focal point of much development activity. Many large-scale developments have been recently completed (ie: Jia Apartments and Blossom Plaza) and the Trammell Crow Company is the latest with the ground breaking of La Plaza Cultura Village, across the street from Union Station.

La Plaza Cultura Village, slated for two Los Angeles County-owned parking lots at the intersection of Broadway and Cesar E Chavez Avenue, will consist of five- and eight-story buildings featuring 355 residential units and 43,000 square feet of ground-floor retail and restaurant space.
